System finder: which press system is approved for medium, pipe and size – and available from us?
Every manufacturer keeps a media list for its own systems. The system finder lays them over one another: you choose medium, pipe material and size, and the result names the systems of Viega, Sanha, Geberit, GF and Victaulic that are approved for it – with the sealing element that belongs to it, with pressure and temperature limit, with a note on the press profile and with the availability from our stock. What a system is, and why profile and sealing element are never mixed, is explained on the press systems overview.

System finder: which press or coupling system fits?
Choose a medium to start – the other fields narrow the result.
Tmax and Pmax apply to the system as a whole; for a given medium the manufacturer may set tighter limits – the manufacturer’s media list is binding. The manufacturer approval for the specific application is binding. This finder shows which systems we supply.
How to read the result
- suitable: the manufacturer lists the medium as approved for this system and this sealing element in its media list. with restrictions: approved with a limitation – a different sealing element, a temperature or concentration limit, or only after consultation with the manufacturer; the limitation is stated in the row. not suitable: not approved. to be clarified: the source does not say – we ask the manufacturer; until then: do not use.
- Sealing element: the elastomer for which the approval applies. A system with an HNBR result for gas is the G variant, not the standard system – the connectors are marked (yellow dot) and ordered separately.
- Limits: operating temperature and operating pressure of the system for the medium. Where a narrower limit than that of the sealing element applies, the narrower one is shown.
- Availability: in stock = stock item, available to order = in the item master without stock, available on request = procured through the manufacturer or contract partner. The standard names dimensions; what is listed here is deliverable – from stock or to order; how quickly a size is available we clarify on request. Sizes shown in grey we do not carry for this system.
The result does not replace the manufacturer approval: before installation, the manufacturer's current instructions for use and media list apply; in special cases – additives, concentrations, change of medium, combination of several requirements – the written approval for the individual case.

Where the data comes from
Every row carries its source and its edition: the media list “Fields of application of metallic installation systems” by Viega (11/2025), the SANHA product catalogue 2026, the Geberit documents on Mepla and FlowFit (2025/2026), the GF documents on iFIT and the Victaulic data sheets. We adopt the manufacturer's statement; we do not re-evaluate it. If a manufacturer changes its list, the row changes – and the edition beside it. Availability comes from our range; as soon as a system is taken into stock, the column switches to “in stock” by itself.
