C-parts management, call-off orders and consignment stock
C-parts sound like a negligible quantity. In practice they are the lever where downtimes arise: the strainer that is not there, the shut-off valve with the wrong face-to-face length, the flange that every contractor orders differently. Our model for this is simple: we store, you call off – at conditions that apply over the term, with articles tailored to your plants.
- Model
- framework agreement · call-off orders · consignment stock at your site or project warehouse at ours
- Scope
- piping and installation material: flanges, butt-welding fittings, threaded fittings, pipes, valves, strainers, accessories – also customer-specific parts
- Reach
- across sites · also for the contractors working on your behalf
- Basis
- information from sales, as of 10/2026 – term, scope and conditions per agreement
Three stages, one principle
- Framework agreement. A defined range at conditions that apply over the term – planning security for purchasing, one supplier instead of many.
- Call-off orders. You order the annual quantity, we deliver on call-off – by maintenance interval, production plan or simply when the shelf runs empty.
- Consignment stock. The material is at your site but belongs to us until withdrawal; what is withdrawn is invoiced. Alternatively the project warehouse at our site with call-off as required.
In all three stages the principle remains: the part is there when it is needed, and it is the right one – the same make, the same face-to-face length as last time, so the replacement is 1:1 and the downtime stays short.
What changes in practice
For maintenance: the range follows your plants and intervals, not a catalogue. Pipes can be delivered cleaned and capped so that no dirt particles get into valves or pumps. For contractors: whoever maintains or repairs on your behalf draws the same parts from the same stock – no second set of makes in the plant. For purchasing: supplier concentration saves ordering, invoicing and checking effort; on request call-offs run via EDI.
What we do not promise: availability rates in percent. What is committed is in the agreement – and depends on range, term and your demand.
What we need from you
Not all of it – what you have. We ask for the rest.
- A list of the recurring parts – from the maintenance system, order history or simply copied from the shelf
- Sites, unloading points and who may order there (also contractors)
- Intervals or annual quantities, if known; otherwise we start with the order history
- Specifics: certificates, cleaning, caps, marking, specified makes (brand restrictions)

Frequently asked questions
How do I keep fittings and small parts permanently available without ordering every time?
With an agreed stock and call-off orders: Zickwolff keeps your range ready and delivers on call - for C-parts from fittings to clamps.
What is the difference between call-off and consignment?
With call-off the material is at our site and is delivered on call; with consignment it is at your site and is invoiced on withdrawal. Which model fits depends on space, consumption and your processes.
Can contractors call off directly from you?
Yes, if you authorise them – with the same articles and conditions as you.
What happens to parts that are not called off?
The agreement regulates that: term, minimum purchase, return. We set that out openly beforehand, not afterwards.
Which parts keep running out?
Send us the list as it is. We propose range, model and process – across sites, also for your contractors.
Send an inquiryOne item or one question → Send enquiry · Several items → Send parts list · It is urgent → Request express – the three entry points are on every page of the knowledge base (enquiry layer), repeated here in short.
