Flat gaskets to EN 1514-1: dimension table form IBC

EN 1514-1 is the current dimensional standard for flat gaskets used with flanges to EN 1092-1. The table shows the dimensions of form IBC (Inner Bolt Circle) – the standard case for flanges with a raised face: inside diameter d1 by nominal size, outside diameter d2 by pressure rating. The ring sits inside the bolt circle and centres itself on the bolts.

Standard
EN 1514-1
Status
Currently valid (replaces DIN 2690–2692)
Form
IBC – inside the bolt circle
Scope
PN 2.5 – PN 40 (table)
Nominal sizes
DN 10 – DN 500 (table)

Besides form IBC, the standard also covers other forms matched to the flange's sealing face: form FF (Full Face) for plain form A flanges, form TG for tongue and groove, and form SR for spigot and recess. The mapping is explained in the gaskets overview. Typical ordering information: "Gasket EN 1514-1, form IBC, DN 250, PN 16, material, s = 2 mm".

Tip: use Ctrl/Cmd + F to jump straight to the nominal size you need.

The standard names dimensions. What is listed here is deliverable – from stock or procured; how quickly a size is available we clarify on request.

* DN 60 is a special nominal size provided only for cast-iron flanges. For PN 1, use the PN 2.5 dimensions. Nominal sizes above DN 500 will be added once verified against the manufacturer source. For a few nominal sizes the EN dimensions differ by a few millimetres from the old DIN 2690 (e.g. d1 at DN 20, 25, 80, and d2 in PN 25/40 from DN 125 upward) – when replacing gaskets in existing plant it is worth checking against the DIN 2690 dimension table.

How this data is compiled. This page does not reproduce a standard. It shows the dimensions you need for an enquiry, an order and installation – for sizes we supply, checked against documents from manufacturing works and suppliers and against our own range. Each value states what kind of value it is: specified by the standard, calculated by us or customary in the trade. The currently valid standard is binding. It is available from DIN Media or from your national standards body. How we select our sources and keep them up to date: About this knowledge.

Technical basis: EN 1514-1 (dimensions form IBC); figures taken from the manufacturer's dimension table KLINGER Information 70.1.1, verified cell by cell against the original and maintained in our own data layer. All information without guarantee – the current standard text and the manufacturer's technical data sheets always prevail. Selection of values follows our delivery and stock programme; compiled from our own inventory management and long-standing trading practice, cross-checked against publicly available manufacturer data. This table does not replace the standard text – the currently valid standard always prevails.
