Flat gaskets to DIN EN 1514-1: dimension table form IBC
DIN EN 1514-1 is the current dimensional standard for flat gaskets used with flanges to DIN EN 1092-1. The table shows the dimensions of form IBC (Inner Bolt Circle) – the standard case for flanges with a raised face: inside diameter d1 by nominal size, outside diameter d2 by pressure rating. The ring sits inside the bolt circle and centres itself on the bolts.
- Standard
- DIN EN 1514-1
- Status
- Currently valid (replaces DIN 2690–2692)
- Form
- IBC – inside the bolt circle
- Scope
- PN 2.5 – PN 40 (table)
- Nominal sizes
- DN 10 – DN 500 (table)
Besides form IBC, the standard also covers other forms matched to the flange's sealing face: form FF (Full Face) for plain form A flanges, form TG for tongue and groove, and form SR for spigot and recess. The mapping is explained in the gaskets overview. Typical ordering information: "Gasket DIN EN 1514-1, form IBC, DN 250, PN 16, material, s = 2 mm".

* DN 60 is a special nominal size provided only for cast-iron flanges. For PN 1, use the PN 2.5 dimensions. Nominal sizes above DN 500 will be added once verified against the manufacturer source. For a few nominal sizes the EN dimensions differ by a few millimetres from the old DIN 2690 (e.g. d1 at DN 20, 25, 80, and d2 in PN 25/40 from DN 125 upward) – when replacing gaskets in existing plant it is worth checking against the DIN 2690 dimension table.
